Steve Boyles University of Texas

Dr. Boyles is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he teaches courses and conducts research in the areas of traffic assignment and network modeling. In particular, his interests in static and dynamic traffic assignment include developing efficient solution algorithms, investigating fundamental equilibrium properties, and applying these models to solve problems in congestion pricing, network design, and other areas.

More broadly, his interests include the application of operations research techniques to transportation problems such as vehicle routing and infrastructure management. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, Texas Department of Transportation, Wyoming Department of Transportation, and Mountain-Plains Consortium.
