Research Digest, June 2025: TxDOT Video Summary Reports
The June 2025 issue of the Research Digest is now available for download from the CTR Library’s website.
This month’s digest is a special issue. It provides abstracts for 14 video summary reports from the research program sponsored by TxDOT’s Research and Technology Implementation Division (RTI).
The research projects represented here cover a wide range of topics. This issue includes video summaries on the use of geothermal energy for de-icing approach pavement slabs and bridge decks (phase II), determining the impact of field sands on workability and engineering properties of superpave mixtures in Texas, the development of guidelines for the integration of UAS LiDAR and photogrammetry to enhance land surveying capabilities, and settlement criteria and design approach for embankments and retaining walls built on compressible soils. Links to online videos for each summary report are provided in the digest.
