Research Digest, October 2023: TxDOT Research
The October 2023 issue of the Research Digest is now available for download from the CTR Library’s website.
This month’s digest provides abstracts for 14 recent publications from the research program sponsored by TxDOT’s Research and Technology Implementation Division (RTI).
The research projects represented here cover a wide range of topics. This issue includes reports on guidance for structural behavior of tall haunches in steel and concrete composite girders, the evaluation of attachments to concrete barrier systems to deter pedestrians, leveraging artificial intelligence techniques to detect, forecast, and manage freeway congestion, and guidelines for optimizing roadway cross-section on Texas highways.
