The 2025 Texas Autonomous Trucking Research Symposium (TATRS), hosted by the Center for Transportation Research at UT Austin was a one-day event held on December 2nd, 2025 at the AT&T Conference Center in Austin, Texas with 135 attendees from across Texas and beyond. This inaugural gathering convened leaders from industry, government, and academic research to examine the current and future state of autonomous trucking in Texas as the national hub for testing, deployment, and policy development. Federal Motor Carrier Administrator Derek Barrs gave the keynote address.
