James Kuhr is a Research Associate with the Network Modeling Center. He is well versed in public/private partnership financing and contracting and alternative delivery (design-build) construction methods from his tenure in the private sector. After an important realization that the road construction industry is not sustainable in its current form, Mr. Kuhr joined the Center for Transportation Research to support his belief that for a better future, transportation must be smarter.
In 2007, Mr. Kuhr received a B.S. in civil engineering (with a focus on transportation) from Texas A & M University. He received a J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin in 2010.
