Kara Kockelman’s Graduate Students Recognized
Two of Professor Kara Kockelman’s graduate students recently received national recognition for outstanding research in the field of transportation engineering.
Sashank Musti, received the 2010 Council of University Transportation Centers (CUTC) Wootan Award for Outstanding M.S. Thesis in Policy & Planning at the annual meeting of the Transportation Research Board, January 2011. His thesis was entitled “Evolution of the Household Vehicle Fleet: Anticipating Fleet Compositions, Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) Adoption and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions in Austin, Texas”.
Jason Lemp was awarded the International Association for Travel Behavior Research (IATBR) 2009 Eric Pas Dissertation Prize to recognize the best dissertation in the field of travel behavior research in 2009, presented at the annual meeting of the Transportation Research Board, January 2011.
