John Helsel is a graduate research assistant with the Network Modeling Center. He graduated from the Furman University in 2011, with a B.S. in physics, and from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 2014 with an M.A. in philosophy. John is currently pursuing a M.S. in civil engineering, specializing in transportation, at The University of Texas at Austin.
His research interests include network assignment models, transportation equity, and traffic operations.
