4th International Choice Modeling Conference to be held in Austin
Chandra Bhat of the Center for Transportation Research and Thomas Adler of Resource Systems Group will host the 4th International Choice Modeling Conference (ICMC) to be held May 10-13, 2015 in Austin, Texas.
The ICMC series is recognized worldwide as a premier occasion for networking with fellow choice analysis researchers, sharing cutting-edge research and developments through high-impact presentations, learning about the latest techniques in the field, and defining the research agenda for the profession. This conference is being brought to North America for the first time, and during a period when new techniques of data collection, combined with new conceptual/estimation approaches, are accelerating the application of choice models to address a variety of important societal policy issues.
The organizing committee seeks abstracts on all aspects of choice modeling research for presentation at the conference. In addition to paper sessions in parallel sessions, the conference will include invited presentations in plenary sessions, workshops that scope the landscape of future challenges and research directions, and, for the first time, knowledge transfer sessions to bridge the gap between the state-of-the art and the state-of-the-practice in choice analysis techniques. Papers for various sessions will be selected on the basis of extended abstracts (800-1000 words). Interested authors should submit their abstracts electronically at the conference website by October 7, 2014.
