2014 CTR Symposium

The Center for Transportation Research will host its annual symposium on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. The theme of this year’s symposium is “Celebrating 50 Years of Innovation.” The symposium will be held at the Commons Center at The University of Texas at Austin Pickle Research Campus, 10100 Burnet Road (map and directions).

1 pm Welcome, Mac Shelby Award presentation to Outstanding TxDOT Project Manager; 1:30 p.m.  50 Years of Innovation in Bridge Design and Construction; 2:30 p.m. Break and Poster Session; 3 p.m. The Austin District 4-Year Plan Development Process; Dynamic Traffic Modeling; Security in Vehicle to Vehicle and Vehicle-to Infrastructure Communications; 4:30 Adjourn11am Poster Session and Meet & Greet
11:30am Lunch in the atrium
1pm Symposium in the Big Tex Auditorium
